The Celtics had no answer for Andre Drummond last night, better yet the Pistons. According to Doc Rivers’ interview with CSNNE he’s planning on making some roster shakeups. From the looks of it, the Celtics does need to make some significant adjustments.

Video and photos of Rajon Rondo's strange pre-game ritual, submitted by Celtics Life readers
A few days ago, we posted an article about Jason Terry's description of Rajon Rondo's really bizarre pre-game ritual:
"(Rajon Rondo's) routine is long-winded and it lasts all the way through tip-off.
It starts in the back hallway. He runs down a corridor and he throws the
ball to our team chaplain, who throws it back. Then [Rondo] runs out
into a circle, high...
Doc Rivers: trades are on the way if team doesn't start to "play hard"
If you thought the trade rumors were bad before, just wait.
According to Boston Globe writer Gary Washburn, Doc Rivers ripped into the Celtics Sunday night after their loss to Detroit 103-88. One tactic he unleashed was threatening to shakeup the roster to get players who are “committed to being a good basketball team.”
I gotta either find the right combination, the right...
5 Things Celtics must do to win tonight - Cavaliers 1/22
The Celtics, coming off their embarrassing loss to the Pistons, will head to Cleveland tonight to face the Cavs. The Cavs received some horrible news yesterday when it was revealed that Anderson Varejo will miss the rest of the season due to a blood clot in his lung. It was just a case of bad luck. The Celtics have had their own problems recently. After their loss in Detroit, Doc...
Back from London, Pistons clobber Celtics
AUBURN HILLS, Mich. -- So much for jet leg.
Three days after flying across the Atlantic and back for a game in London, the Pistons came out Sunday and beat the Boston Celtics, 103-88.
"We got into the gym when we got back, just to get the jet lag out of here and get some shots up," said Brandon Knight, who finished with 15 points. "We had some great workouts and...
Kevin Garnett called a cheap shot artist by Joakim Noah
Kevin Garnett will never be misunderstood as a nice guy. The NBA is full of personalities that are competitive yet not capable of the misdeeds that Garnett is capable of. Joakim Noah is not exactly a pillar of virtue either. His history does not reflect someone who is afraid to sneak in a low-blow from time [...]

Fan has Charlie Villanueva tattoo on arm
It isn’t often that a bench player that is eighth in scoring on his team, and horribly overpaid, ends up as a tattoo. Actually, it isn’t all too often that any basketball player ends up in permanent skin ink on person. But Charlie Villanueva of the Detroit Pistons ended up being forever inked on some Pistons fans arm. I’m not quite sure why anyone would ever want to do this...
What's with the Pistons bizarre continued domination of the Celtics?
Greg Monroe (middle) loves playing the Celtics.
It's been more than a year since the Celtics beat the Pistons. On December 30th, 2011 Boston knocked off Detroit 96-85 in their first game at the Garden last season. Since that day the Pistons are 36-63 against all other teams in the NBA combined, but 4-0 vs. Boston. In fact, in those four games the Celtics have never even...

Detroit Pistons: Fantastic Frontcourt Duo is Ticket to a Brighter Future
Once Joe Dumars traded Chauncey Billups for Allen Iverson just a few games into the 2008 season, the Detroit Pistons franchise quickly fell apart. Trading their long-time franchise player for a massive expiring contract, they hoped to quickly rebuild, as Dumars believed their title window had closed. However, they used that cap space to overpay two role players, in Ben Gordon and...

George Stephanopoulos Thinks Bill Russell Is Morgan Freeman
This is what happens when you let George Stephanopoulos call an inauguration ceremony attended by the greatest member of the Boston Celtics.
This wouldn’t be so bad if Bill wasn’t wearing a Celtics hat. Where are the spotters from ABC?
Maybe a simple, “George, coming up is a shot of Celtics legend Bill Russell,” in his ear before giving him the Bill Russell shot.
Let’s...
Box Score: Celtics 90, Cavaliers 95
Boston came into this game hurting. Losers of 3 straight, the Celtics surely looked at this game in Cleveland as a prime opportunity to get things back on track. Kyrie Irving had other ideas.
“Mr 4th Quarter” disguised himself as “Mr 1st Quarter” in this one as he came out looking to make a statement against the East’s All-Star starting PG Rajon Rondo. Irving was aggressive...
Pistons bully Magic in blowout
The signs were there that the game stood on the edge for either team with Detroit heading to the locker room up two points at halftime.
The Pistons were not shooting the ball well and were giving up 3-pointers left and right to a strong-shooting Magic team. The Magic were giving up offensive rebounds and getting beat in transition after committing turnovers. Not to mention the...
