The Golden State Warriors accomplished a huge portion of their salary dump Friday by trading Andris Biedrins, Richard Jefferson and Brandon Rush to the Utah Jazz.
Then, using up some of their new found cap space, they agreed to terms with Andre Iguodala on a 4-year, $48 million contract.

The Jazz reportedly will receive “multiple draft picks,” including the Warriors’ 2014 first round pick in exchange for taking on the Warriors’ contracts.
Iguodala, 29, joins a young Warriors team centering around point guard Stephen Curry, and young starters Klay Thompson and Harrison Barnes. Iguodal averaged 13 points, 5.3 rebounds, 5.4 assists and 1.7 steals last season for the Denver Nuggets, whom the Warriors knocked out of the playoffs in the first round of this year’s playoffs.
