Andre Iguodala is now a member of the Golden State Warriors The Golden State Warriors did end up signing a big piece to their team today, but just not the piece everyone may have expected. Andre Iguodala, not Dwight Howard signed with the Warriors after Golden State cleared out the expiring contracts of Andris Biedrins, Richard Jefferson and Brandon Rush in a trade with the Utah Jazz. Iguodala signed a four-year deal worth $52 million. Iggy has been a big fan of Warriors’ coach, Mark Jackson. He also fits the style of play the Warriors play while adding a defensive presence on the perimeter. The deal doesn’t eliminate the possibility of Dwight Howard coming to Golden State, however at this point they would need to do a sign in trade with the Los Angeles Lakers in order to complete a deal. Yahoo Sports’ Adrian Wojnarowski thinks it’s unlikely the Warriors will land Dwight Howard now that they have brought in Iguodala. Denver offered Andre Iguodala a 4-year, $52M deal — as well as 5-year scenarios — before he accepted Warriors deal, sources tell Y! — Adrian Wojnarowski (@WojYahooNBA) July 5, 2013   Warriors still working to make moves, so my suggestion they’re out of play with Dwight Howard is premature. They have tentacles everywhere. — Adrian Wojnarowski (@WojYahooNBA) July 5, 2013   The post Andre Iguodala signs with the Warriors appeared first on Pass The Pill - Kings of Hoops.
