Andre Iguodala is the latest professional athlete to be hit with legal trouble as he's being sued by Clayanna Warthen, 23, for child support. She "seeks temporary support of $12,000 to $15,000 a month, according to the suit filed in Camden County court today." According to Andre's attorneys, they've "made all reasonable efforts . . . to resolve this matter
without litigation. In spite of those efforts, the demands that were
made were beyond what is reasonable."
I don't know what you do for a living, but $12-15,000 a month is tough to live the blogger lifestyle on.
The question remains, just who is Clayanna Warthen?
Before we examine that question, it's worth noting that Iguodala and his attorney's appear to be making every effort to provide for the child, London Iguodala.
After reading in Michael Klein's piece that Warthen modeled and appeared in music videos, we hit the Google.
Our first stop brought us to what seems like an outdated profile on "HipHopVideoModels.net" in which she brags about her Camden roots:
It could very well be her diamond-in-the-dirt make up, which garnered her the first notch on her video belt. You first saw Clay as a femme scam artist in Cassidy's “I'm a Hustla” (hustla dance and all). Backed by Will Smith's assistant Charlie Mack, she has since landed in several of your favorite '05 videos. She shook the **** out of Adam Sandler's car in Nelly's “Errtime,” posed as Ms. Toronto in Ludacris' “Pimpin' All Over the World,” hugged the block in Young Jeezy's “Soul Survivor” and flirted with Styles in “Can You Believe It.
While her performance in Cassidy's "I'm a Hustla" may have been forgettable, the rapper's old school Eagles jacket is not.
