Unfortunately the Warriors were unable to carry momentum and aggressiveness from last night as this look like a repeat of Monday as the Warriors were once again crushed by the Phoenix Suns. Riding the high from Monday, Steve Nash picked up where he left off and contributed with an 18 point, 11 assist night while sitting out the entire fourth quarter. Wingman Channing Frye added 17 points and nine rebounds as the Suns routed the Warriors 112-88.

Monta Ellis just managed 8 points for the night after an explosive night while Steph Curry, David Lee and Dorrell Wright finished with 12, 11 and 3 points respectively. That’s not gonna get it done on any night, let alone against a high scoring team like the Suns. The two bright spots was the play of rookie Ekpe Udoh and Brandan Wright who both finished with 16 points a piece. Reggie Williams continues his improvement as he had a steady game with 16 points, 4 rebounds and 6 assists.

At one point, the Warriors missed 13 straight shots as the Suns built up a 71-44 lead. The Suns never looked back, even leading as much as 33 in the fourth quarter. Unless you count the first basket of the game that the Warriors scored, they never led and never was close. After an eight game home stand, this is not the way to start a road trip. The Warriors are 0-3 against the Suns.

The next game for the Warriors comes at the expense of the Thunder as the Warriors look for a good win against Oklahoma City and Kevin Durant.
