New Orleans Hornets rookie Anthony Davis had a different call of duty Monday.
Davis, returning from a shoulder injury and presumably a lot of COD: Black Ops, showed off his potential for dominance: 17 points (6-of-13 shooting, 5-of-9 free throws), 15 rebounds and four blocks in 39 minutes. The No. 1 pick isn't likely in rookie-of-the-year contention, but he's piecing together a season to build upon.

According to Yahoo! Sports, the New Orleans Hornets signed D-League center, Henry Sims to a 10-day contract. Sims averaged 17.1 points and 9 rebounds in 36 games with the Erie Bayhawks this season.
The Hornets lost forward/center, Jason Smith, earlier this week who will miss the remainder of the season with a torn labrum in his right shoulder.
