by Scott SchroederFiled under: Mavericks, NBA D-League, Texas LegendsThe Texas Legends, NBA D-League affiliate of the Dallas Mavericks, announced today that veteran guard Antonio Daniels will return to the lineup after sitting out more than a month with a torn ligament in his hand. With Daniels in the Legends' lineup, head coach Nancy Lieberman was able to start the season with a solid 6-3 record, but the team has since lost eight of 12 with the NBA veteran out of action. Daniels was a bit of a mystery going into this year's D-League season as he sat out all of last year rehabbing a knee injury and, at the age of 35, was the oldest player in D-League history. Despite having played in 868 regular season NBA games in his career, many wondered if the point guard still had what it took to make one last run on his way to a call-up.
