The Atlanta Hawks had one of the worst games I've ever seen from an NBA team last night.  They finished the game with 58 points, and had a quarter in which they only scored 5 points.  That has to be an NBA record for worst quarter ever.  They ended up losing the game to the Chicago Bulls 97-58.  The Bulls Taj Gibson added some salt to the wound when he posterized Atlanta’s Anthony Tolliver. The announcer went wild and went on a facebook rant.  He said Gibson just friend requested him and created a website called www.myface.com.  Nothing like rubbing their faces in it huh??  Video below. Halfcourt Shot Attempt by Fan Comes to Rest on Rim With Thud (Video)

Atlanta Hawks Fan Gets Ball Stuck on Rim During Half-Court Shot (Video)

During Friday night’s Hawks vs. Jazz game, a lucky Atlanta fan named Kevin had a chance at $1,000 if he made a half court shot.  He went with the over hand baseball throw, which everyone knows is a rookie move.  Somehow the ball ended up magically getting stuck on top of the rim.  Didn't think that was possible from a strait on angle.  The announcer then went up and grabbed...

Atlanta Hawks: Off-Season Upgrading Options are Plenty

With the Atlanta Hawks trading the behemoth known as Joe Johnson’s contract and Marvin Williams’ bloated contract last summer and with Josh Smith’s contract up at the end of the year, the Hawks will have a massive amount of cap space in the off-season. With up and coming point guard, Jeff Teague also a free agent this off-season, the only players signed on past 2013-14 is...

Atlanta Hawks set new records for futility

The Hawks have been in Atlanta since 1968, but have existed as a franchise since 1949.  In those 64 seasons, the Hawks have scored 65 or fewer points 66 times.  They have failed to score 60 points just 21 times.  On Monday night, the Hawks made it an even 22 in an embarrassing 97-58 loss to the Bulls.  The pathetic offensive output is the lowest since the team moved to Atlanta...

Watch Stacey King Go Nuts Over Taj Gibson’s Posterization

Chicago Bulls color analyst and cheerleader Stacey King — oops, I forgot this was the NBA, apologies for the analyst/cheerleader redundancy — wins the award for “Rhetorical Question of the Day” with his reaction to this vicious throw-down by Bulls forward Taj Gibson. To answer your question though, Mr. King, yes, there are people who know how to post videos to Facebook. However...

John Wall Returns, Remains Fast, Still Needs To Learn To Shoot

Wizards 93, Hawks 83 [Saturday] ***JOHN WALL BACK!  In something of a surprise return (a surprise to me, at least — I had no idea he was about to come back), Wall helped his Wizards achieve their first win streak (two games) of the season with a 21-minute, 14-point contribution (5-11, 4 AST/3 TO) off the bench.  It was a feel-good game for the Wizards in more ways than one, as...

Taj Gibson Wrecks Anthony Tolliver with Dunk

With the Chicago Bulls up big against the Atlanta Hawks on Monday night, forward Taj Gibson didn’t make things any better for ATL as he threw up a huge poster on Anthony Tolliver in the fourth quarter.
