I’m a big fan of basketball. Bigger fan of guards of all kinds, but point guards are my specialty. So I happen to run across SLAM, which has good basketball articles and on the front cover of next month’s magazine are two elite point guards of the game, Rajon Rondo and Chris Paul. Those articles on those two guards were fantastic but then a surprise towards the end of the magazine was the best. An article on our very own Monta Ellis! The article was well written, giving insight on the personal aspects of an NBA player who has matured in front of our eyes.
I’m happy that Monta is finally getting the respect he deserves and the respect he earned. Finally, a Warrior who has equally deserved to be on the cover of SLAM was at least in the magazine itself, think of unproven John Wall two covers ago. But if you are looking for something good to read, pick up the latest issue and divulge yourself into Monta’s world.
