New Orleans Hornets
After an embarassing loss at the hands of the lowly New Orleans Hornets, Boston came in with more focus against a strong Chicago Bulls team. The Bulls started strong and led most of the way, but Boston made a late game charge force a thrilling finale. The Celtics were far more aggressive on defense, but they still allowed to many easy put-backs and open jump-shots. After a dizzying back and forth, Marco Belinelli won the game on an off-balance shot with 3 seconds left.
Carlos Boozer dominated the first half, but cooled off as the game went on and Joakim Noah was solid with a double-double (13 points, 11 rebounds). Richard Hamilton nailed a bevy of tough jumpers to finish with 20 points.
After going down 8, Boston opened the fourth quarter with a strong 6-0 run, coming within 2 after a couple sweet jumpers from KG and a nice drive by the Jet. They finally tied it at the 7 minute mark after a tasty finger-roll from Rondo. The game was back on forth from then on, but Rondo hit a 20...
