Beyond The Buzzer:
Blake Griffin took a hard fall out of bounds saving a loose ball for the Clippers on Friday night and landed on a couple of kids. ”One kid had his hands up and the other was crying, so it was mixed emotions,” said Griffin who stayed in the crowd while the Clippers had possession of the ball to make sure himself nobody was hurt. After the game, Blake was asked what he said to the boy who was shaken up and Chris Paul quickly interrupted and responded for his teammate a la one of his Kia commercials: “Don’t wear jean shorts!” Griffin concurred but also added he was making sure they were alright as well.
BEST OF MAXIM
The Los Angeles Clippers are set at the point guard position. They have Chris Paul starting, and they have Eric Bledsoe coming off the bench. Bledsoe is good enough to provide an immediate impact with just about any other team in the league, but the Clippers do not want to let him go. But the trade rumors and interest from teams is going to continue. Marc Stein of ESPN says...

Eric Bledsoe has flourished as the Clippers' primary backup to Chris Paul.
The Los Angeles Clippers have enjoyed a very deep bench unit this season. A big part of that is Eric Bledsoe, who is having a great season backing up Chris Paul. In only 18.5 minutes per game, Bledsoe is averaging 8.7 points, 2.7 rebounds, 2.6 assists, 1.5 steals, and .7 blocks.
Bledsoe has great athleticism, and showed some of it off here when he blocked Jarrett Jack from behind...
Every morning, we will give you five things from the night before in the NBA to start your day.
1: Statement made
Los Angeles is a two-team town. California is a four-team state.
Only one team is at the top of that mountain. Only one team right now looks like a championship-caliber team. Only one of these teams looks serious.
Yes, that would be the Clippers. It still...
LOS ANGELES It's not about the Lakers anymore. There might still be a rivalry a battle to stake a claim to LA but the Clippers look at themselves from a different angle, a different standard.
They beat the Lakers 107-102 Friday night at Staples Center and ended a two-game losing streak. The fact it was their co-tenant they beat seemed less important than proving they could...
The Battle for LA is REAL. Clippers vs. Lakers may not have been an official rivalry before, it’s arrived this season. The Clippers came out aggressive in the first quarter. But Kobe Bryant looked like he wanted to remind Chris Paul that this is still his city. Better call Cliff Paul? The Black Mamba [...]
