Found January 04, 2012 on Clippers Locker:
22-year old power forward Blake Griffin is off to a blazing start this year for the Los Angeles Clippers.  He has played in 4 games (all starts) for the Clippers so far this year and he is averaging 36.8 minutes, 26.0 points, 9.8 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.0 steals per game.  He is shooting 54.8% from the floor so far this year, as his range is starting to expand.  Griffin is the go-to man on the Clippers and Chris Paul will likely be feeding him the ball quite a bit this year.

Proof Blake Griffin had his Ego Putback'd into Place (Gif)

Houston Rockets Chandler Parsons just made the Houston Rockets roster look talented for one play this season. Although, Los Angeles Clippers Blake Griffin is known for notoriously as an offensive putback or alley-oop dunker, defensively he was shown that he has yet to become an all-around star. As you can tell, I'm not caught up in the hype of Blake Griffin as a top 15 NBA...

High-flying Clippers finding their groove

LOS ANGELES -- This Lob City thing is catching on. It's a thing of beauty, really -- a soft pass into the air from Chris Paul, a soaring Blake Griffin with his arms extended above the basket, a rim-rattling slam. The crowd rises to its feet. Players leap off the bench. That's what it's like watching the Los Angeles Clippers. Just five games into the new season, they...

Video: Chandler Parsons Pulls a Blake Griffin

The Houston Rockets didn’t have many highlights in a 117-89 smashing at the hands of the L.A. Clippers. Kevin McHale benched the starters midway through the third quarter, essentially throwing in the white flag and conceding to the Staples Center after two days of torture. One player from the second team, however, made a name for himself and provided one of his team’s...

Chandler Parsons Dunks On Blake Griffin (Sort Of) Then Unleashes The Stare Down

The Houston Rockets were blown out by the Los Angeles Clippers on Wednesday night, but that didn't stop former Florida Gators' star Chandler Parsons from unleashing the stare down on Blake Griffin. When you dunk on someone, which I guess Parsons sort of kind of not really did on Griffin, you stare them down. It's a basketball rule. It shows that person that you are so...

Blake Griffin had 22 points and nine assists before sitting out most of the fourth quarter, Chris Paul added 20 points and 10 assists, and the Los Angeles Clippers cruised to a 117-89 victory over the Houston Rockets on Wednesday night.

Griffin soars as Clippers rout Rockets

The Clippers are more than just Blake Griffin, Chris Paul and a no-name supporting cast. Ask the Houston Rockets. Griffin had 22 points and nine rebounds before sitting out most of the fourth quarter, Paul added 20 points and 10 assists, and the Clippers cruised to a 117-89 victory over Houston on Wednesday night. But it was the combined efforts of Chauncey Billups, DeAndre Jordan...

Blake Griffin, Chris Paul Now Despise ‘Lob City’ Nickname

When he first learned the Clippers acquired Chris Paul in a trade, Blake Griffin was so excited he said it was going to be “lob city.” The phrase caught on and became the team’s nickname. Now Chris Paul and Blake Griffin have grown sick of the name, believing that it overshadows everything else about the team. “[The nickname is] unfortunate,” Griffin...

Rockets-Clippers Preview

Blake Griffin and Chris Paul are giving the Los Angeles Clippers an impressive one-two scoring punch, but defense has held the key to whether the Clippers win or lose. The Clippers could use another strong defensive performance when they host the Houston Rockets on Wednesday night. Griffin's 26.0 points and 9.8 rebounds per game are both tops on Los Angeles (2-2), while Paul...

Blake Griffin and Chris Paul don’t like the “Lob City” name

Ever since Chris Paul became a member of the Los Angeles Clippers, the name "Lob City" has been the top meme of the 2011-12 NBA season. The moniker promises visions of basketballular delight on the level of gumdrop forests and marshmallow clouds. What we've seen from the Clippers so far this season has been a work in progress, but the name persists nonetheless. Once...

Mike Brown’s son’s friends wonder if Lakers can beat Clippers

This is what Chris Paul and Blake Griffin have done to Los Angeles. L.A. is still a Lakers town — it’s the one generational team in Los Angeles, where your grandfather rooted for them, your dad and you — but the Clippers are changing the conversation among the youngest generations. Like Lakers coach Mike Brown’s…
