Blake Griffin missed the entire 2009-10 season because of surgery on his broken left kneecap after the Clippers used the No. 1 overall pick on him. So he knows a little of what Derrick Rose is experiencing trying to rehabilitate from ACL surgery.
“The monotony of it,” Griffin said. “You’re doing the exact same exercises day in and day out. On top of that, you have to sit and watch basketball, games you’re supposed to be playing in. It’s tough. But if you really put in the work and do the things they ask you every day, you’ll come back 100 percent. I have no doubt D-Rose will.”
