DeRozan thinking..."...sometimes I dream...that he is me..."Tonight, the recap will be a short one. There isn't a whole lot to tell in terms of amazing details. We beat the Toronto Raptors by a score of 98 – 97. I could go into all sorts of amazing detail of the boring nature of the game, but then why would you read the article. The best part of the game was the last few seconds...read on and I'll share why   The stage is set...Bobcats are up by a point and the Raptors are coming in from a time out, in-bounding from the side. The ball is in-bounded & a pass swings the ball across court. Bobcats defense stands strong. DeRozan makes a hard cut away from Taylor...the shot is up...blocked out of bounds by Taylor...Raptors ball. The ball is thrown in again and rotated to the outside...shot goes up...short, Taylor with the rebound and time expires. This is exactly what this team is about. This year's Bobcats know that games can come down to a final possession. The last game where it came down to a final possession produced a Killer Kemba Crossover and a game winning shot. Tonight's game was just as spectacular. Our guys just seem to know when to turn it on. Tonight, Taylor stepped up in a big way. He limited DeRozan to only 14 points. This was a great, great effort by our rookie to step up and guard yet another NBA star, and get the stops when they were needed.I could ramble on and on about how the Bobcats should have just blown this team out. It is the NBA and just as coach Dunlap said, "No NBA team is just going to give you a win. You have to fight for it." The Bobcats were lax for stretches in the game and that is what kept it so close. At the end of the day, however, the Bobcats started another win streak as we walk into Thanksgiving. Here are some stats from the night:Walker = 19pts / 7 assists / 3 rebs / 3 blocks / 1 StealKidd-Gilchrist = 14pts / 3 rebs / 2 assists / 0 turnovers / 2 stealsSessions = 14pts / 6 assists / 4 rebs / 1 stealGordon = 13pts / 4 assists / 2 rebs / 2 blocksTaylor = 11pts / 6 rebs / 2 steals / 1 blockBiyombo = 11pts / 8 rebs / 1 assist / 1 steal / 2 blocksI have to give tonight's Trade Street Post Game-breaker award to Jeff Taylor. The game was won in the final seconds, and his block and rebound clinched the victory for us tonight. Honorable mention goes to Biyombo. This was probably the best game he's had all season. He looked great tonight, and looks to be improving with every game played.Friday, the Atlanta Hawks will be visiting Time Warner Cable Arena. This is a division rival game, and hopefully we can get the win and stretch our win streak to 3.
