The Charlotte Bobcats have reportedly met with Indiana Pacers assistant coach Brian Shaw about their now vacant head coaching position. He’s looking like a strong candidate to take over the team owned by Michael Jordan. The person spoke to The Associated Press Friday on condition of anonymity because Charlotte has not made its list of candidates public. The Bobcats finished with the worst single season winning percentage in NBA history, so the new coach will certainly have his worked cut out for him. Despite finishing with the league’s worst record, the New Orleans Hornets, not the Charlotte Bobcats, won the draft lottery.  h/t Greenwich Time.com Paul M. Bobcats draft lottery party sparsely attended

The home of the Charlotte Bobcats, Time Warner Cable Arena, and the ownership held a Draft lottery party last night and the results were sad on many levels. In the actual arena there was only sadness on one level as barely anyone showed up, but when New Orleans landed the first pick you could feel the air come out of those 50 or so people that did show up. I want to get in there...

Charlotte Bobcats Promotion: Buy 2012-2013 Season Tickets, get 2013-2014 Season Tickets Free

After the Charlotte Bobcats suffered through the 2011-2012 NBA season in which they had the worst winning percentage in history, the franchise needed a pick me up. They received a bit of that when they won the #2 pick during the NBA Lottery that was held on Wednesday and to celebrate the feat they [...]

Yeah, Guys, So This Is CharlotteBobcats.com

Usually when there is a site for a professional sports team, typing the city and name together in the address bar followed by a ".com" always leads to their site. However, for some, it's not the case. One of those teams are the Charlotte Bobcats. The domain CharlotteBobcats.com has nothing to do with the professional basketball team whatsoever. According to the website...

The Charlotte Bobcats’ draft party went about as well as you thought it would

What you’re about see is video from the official Charlotte Bobcats draft that was held n Time Warner Cable Arena in Charlotte. And from the looks of the turnout, most people knew what draft lottery night had in store for the Bobcats. The sparse crowd cheered as teams not named the Charlotte Bobcats were called. But once the Bobcats were announced to have the number #2 pick, fans...

Charlotte Bobcats react to losing No. 1 pick

The Charlotte Bobcats held a Draft lottery party at Time Warner Cable Arena. It went poorly for a few reasons. New Orleans picks first — Not only a sad turnout, but a real sad result. The FIX was in weeks ago. -TO Anthony Davis Gets Cereal Unibrow Anthony Davis Ready to Go # 1

Bobcats offering 2-for-1 season ticket deal

So you live in Charlotte. Your basketball team just won seven games for an entire season and, even in a shortened season, still managed to set the record for worst winning percentage in NBA history. Your owner is the greatest basketball player of all time, but does not have a great track record running a team. Worst of all, that seven-win season did not even net you the top overall...

The Charlotte Bobcats draft party wasn't exactly well attended (Video)

Last night, the Charlotte Bobcats held an NBA Draft Lottery party at Time Warner Arena to get their fans psyched for the possibility of drafting Kentucky forward Anthony Davis.Well, the New Orleans Hornets won the first overall pick and the "fans" in attendance the party weren't exactly excited to lose out on Mr. Davis: (Courtesy of Cosby Sweaters)

Larry Bird wants to stay with Pacers, and the Pacers should want that too

He's Larry freaking Bird, first of all. But not only that, he's also clearly separated himself as an executive from those legends who once played as his contemporaries. If he wants to come back, you let him come back. This isn't Isiah Thomas or Michael Jordan looking to stay on as President of Basketball Operations for the Indiana Pacers. It's Bird, the reigning NBA...

Bobcats’ Jordan does Ewing a favor, doesn’t hire him

Former NBA great Michael Jordan has six NBA championships.  He is arguably the biggest reason former New York Knicks Center Patrick Ewing has none as the Knicks could never get past the Bulls in the Eastern conference playoffs during the 90’s.  The one year they did, Jordan had retired temporarily but the Knicks eventually fell to the Houston [...]

Rebuilding The Charlotte Bobcats

The Charlotte Bobcats were possibly the worst team I have ever witnessed in professional sports, and that is saying something.  The New Jersey Nets team of the 2009-2010 season would even be able to blow out the Bobcats team we saw this year.  The Bobcats right now have a coaching vacancy, the 2nd overall pick in the upcoming draft, and some decent young talent on their roster...
