(By Ron Green Jr., rgreenjr@charlotteobserver.com) How's this for an NBA doubleheader in Charlotte: On March 5, Kobe Bryant and the defending NBA champion Los Angeles Lakers make their only visit to the Charlotte Bobcats and the next day the Golden State Warriors -- with rookie Stephen Curry -- come to town for their only visit of the season. That rare back-to-back set of home games is among the highlights of the Bobcats' 2009-10 regular-season schedule, which was released Tuesday. Other highlights include: The Bobcats open the regular season Oct. 28 in Boston against the Celtics. The home opener is on Friday, Oct. 30 against the New York Knicks. After years of ending the regular season with a heavy slate of road games because Time Warner Cable Arena has been otherwise occupied, the Bobcats will play eight of their last 12 games at home.
