The son of Chicago Bulls star Carlos Boozer was set to get a good talking to after he was captured on video cheering for his dad's opponents, the Miami Heat, on Sunday.
During the ABC broadcast, there was a brief story on Boozer's son, who has recovered from sickle cell anemia, CBS Sports reported.
And as the camera panned to Boozer's family, the boy is seen cheering, "Let's go Heat!" with the home fans during the fourth quarter at Miami's AmericanAirlines Arena. His mother is also seen laughing.
The broadcast crew picked up on the cheering and showed it on replay during a dead-ball stoppage.
"If I'm pops and I'm watching this film, if my kid is yelling, 'Let's go Heat' like we just saw, I've got a problem," said announcer and former Knicks and Rockets coach Jeff Van Gundy.
"You can't go against pop's team ... we would have a long talk."
To make matters worse for Boozer, the Heat won 97-93.
