Image via WikipediaCongratulations Boston! The Celtics deservedly won at home and did a great job in holding of the superstars of Miami, LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, Chris Bosh in the NBA Opening Night matchup. Rajon Rondo served a game-high 17 assists with dishes galore all over the floor. Ray Allen, Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce were their usual magnificent selves and they carried the team's offensive load. Allen hit a 5 of 8 threes and one important trey with 49.8 seconds to play to put the Celtics up 86-80, and they kept it up for the win. Meanwhile it's nice to see the new Celtics roster of Shaq with little Nate Robinson too. The other O'Neal, Jermaine was on the bench and I can't wait to see him play more minutes.
