This offseason, the Boston Celtics have been trying to find ways to cut back on their roster, and they just might have an easy out with one of their draft picks, Colton Iverson. Even before suiting up for the Celtics in the Orlando Summer League, Iverson was considering going overseas to play basketball. As of today, Iverson has signed a two-year contract with the Besiktas in the Turkish League, which also has an opt-out clause for the second year.  Despite signing to play in the Turkish League, the Celtics still own the rights to Iverson, meaning if he performs well the C’s might want to bring him back to their roster. Iverson played a total of five summer games for the C’s, and was a pretty big force down on the block. He stands at 7’0, and each game he played, Iverson could be found hustling for every loose ball, while being a big defensive force as well.
