The Boston Celtics have filled one of their holes on the roster with an apparent trade with the Milwaukee Bucks. ESPN Boston is reporting that the agent for Keyon Dooling has made it clear the Celtics acquired the veteran point guard for a future second round pick. However, Dooling can play both guard positions. The six foot three guard has been a solid contributor off the bench averaging seven points a game. Dooling has a solid outside shot and can stretch the floor. His defense is also solid having played for the demanding Scott Skiles.
However, with the Celtics landing Dooling, does this means the team is not going to make a push for Delonte West? The answer is no. Dooling is a shoot first guard that is better equipped to play shooting guard in the NBA. The Celtics need a backup for Ray Allen.
