Season Analysis: The Celtics should be very grateful to the Bruins, Red Sox, and Patriots for taking the attention of Boston away from them for a year. After trading away longtime stars, Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett, the Celtics and their fans know that a tough rebuilding year is about to unfold, something the team hasn’t seen since before the Big 3 era. While there will be no playoffs for the Celtics, the year is not going to necessarily be lost for them. Fans will get to see how rookie head coach, Brad Stevens goes about his business and how players like Avery Bradley and Jeff Green fit into his system. Rookie standout, Kelly Olynyk will also be a player who is followed closely in his first year, as big time minutes are seemingly up for grabs.
