Murphy did not play all that much this season due to the fact that one of the worst coaches in basketball (Yes, I am calling you out Avery Johnson) felt the need to let the talented big man ride the pine. This means the man is completely out of basketball playing shape. All the practicing, work outs, and pick up games in the world will not get you into NBA playing shape. This means Murphy right now is just beginning to get his legs under him. It should come to no one’s surprise that Murphy has not scored a basket in his four games since joining the Celtics.                 However, there was another man that had issues with a return to basketball after a long layoff. That man would get his legs under him just in time to provide huge minutes and make big plays off the bench to help secure Banner 17. That man was PJ Brown.
