Boston Celtics Von Wafer And Mario West Have Opportunity: Preseason Begins Tonight

  The preseason battle lines are drawn. In one corner is the talented Von Wafer. Wafer is as everyone knows a very capable scorer. He can stroke from the outside and slash to the hoop. The best part is he even defends well.  He has proven once before that he can be a valuable piece to a playoff team’s puzzle. The major knocks are his work ethic and issues with coaches that saw him have a nightmare 2010 season. After playing well for the Rockets, Wafer cashed in overseas. He was miserable and his play showed it. He fought with the coaches and away he was to an NBA return. Problem was he failed his physical due to lack of being in NBA shape to return to Houston.
