Bradley Beal is still not medically cleared to play more than three months after he was diagnosed with a stress injury in his right fibula. Beal will not participate on the Washington Wizards' Summer League team, as well as Team USA's minicamp. “It’s definitely tough, not being able to work out for 12 weeks or whatever it was, and now I’m actually starting to get into it. Gradually I’ll work my way back into it, and hopefully I’ll be back in no time,” Beal said. “It’s definitely going to be a slow progression, and it’s still a little pain on the touch, but as far as hurting when I’m running, it doesn’t hurt at all and jumping at all. But I’m still going to take my time because it might come back on me.” Beal has used the time to watch film of last season and to find areas of his game he needs to correct. “A lot of things I have to improve on, including my shot. A lot of times, my balance isn’t right and certain little things I’m not doing right, like my ballhandling. De

The Wizards will begin their preparation for their 8th annual Vegas Summer League stint at the Verizon Center tonight and as usual, the squad will be comprised of rookies, underachievers and big dreamers. Ex-fiancee laces Jason Collins

When NBA player Jason Collins came out as gay this spring, he was lauded as a hero to a lot of people. One notable exception is the shocked woman who thought she was going to be his wife. That woman is named Carolyn Moos, and she has told her tale ("Jason Collins is my Ex-Fiance") of being engaged to Collins in the new edition of Cosmopolitan. Once she gets to the point...

Jan Vesely knows how to work vine (Video)

Jason Collins’ ex-fiancee Carolyn Moos: The media seems to be a higher priority

Jason Collins became the first active professional athlete in the four major American sports to reveal he is gay just over two months ago, and for the most part we have already stopped talking about it. If you ask me, that is a good thing. The idea is to look at a gay NBA player [...]

The ex-fiancée of Jason Collins speaks out: He never told me about the article

Carolyn Moos is probably a name you wouldn’t recognize in conversation, but if one were to mention Jason Collins, it might click. She is the former fiancée of the NBA player who recently came-out, and is the first openly gay male athlete in professional sports. She spent eight years in a relationship with Collins, most of them while both student-athletes at Stanford, only to have...

Glen Rice Jr.’s Unorthodox Journey to the NBA

When the Wizards selected Glen Rice Jr. in this past NBA draft, most Wizards fans erroneously thought they selected Glenn Robinson III. While they’re both progeny of former NBA players, Robinson III returned to the University of Michigan for his sophomore season. This begs the questions of who is Glen Rice Jr., and why are [...]
