Stevens says Bradley, Lee, Wallace, Bass and Sullinger will start tonight. Says Green will play two positions as he tinkers with lineups.— Boston Celtics (@celtics) October 9, 2013
Interesting to see that Green will come off the bench in this game. I wonder how long that lineup will last. The Celtics will be going pretty small with either Bass or Sullinger starting at center. Honestly, I would've liked a bigger lineup, but let's see how it goes.
And it looks like Brooks will play after all:
MarShon Brooks, who left Tuesday's practice w/ a migraine, is ready to play tonight. Brad Stevens says expect to see him enter game "early."— Marc D'Amico (@Marc_DAmico) October 9, 2013
Hopefully he can somewhat redeem himself from the last game.

BOSTON – The Brad Stevens era began as the Celtics lost their preseason opener to the Toronto Raptors 97-89. Jared Weiss and Evans Clinchy were on hand to break down the Avery Bradley-based pick-and-roll offense and Kris Humphries' role in the pivot. Once again, Jeff Green cursed at Jared and Kris Humphries explains how he got his black eye. Filmed and produced by Jeremy Sherman...
Before he coached his first game at TD Garden new Boston Celtics coach Brad Stevens was playfully asked if he noticed the 17 championship banners hanging inside his new gym. Stevens said they "couldn’t be further from my mind right now" while noting that he wasn't hired for what had happened in the past but to try to get the team back to that level.
The Boston Celtics discovered a lot about themselves in the first preseason game against the Toronto Raptors on Monday night.
One thing they discovered is that this team has to work on hitting the glass and pulling down rebounds. Here is a quote from A. Sherrod Blakely's piece on CSNNE:
Upon further review, Celtics coach Brad Stevens came away with the same conclusion he...

It’s no secret that Brad Stevens loves big guys who can space the floor, but what happens if they don’t shoot open threes? Well, he doesn’t like that so much. Stevens so far for the Celtics hasn’t been a screaming and heated coach, however he was the other day. Avery Bradley was the whistle-blower, divulging in a recent interview:
I came across this video from Darko Index. With Brad Stevens being an advocate of this movement in basketball. I thought this long video could give us more insight of what may come under Brad Stevens. Celtics numbers guru Mike Zarren was apart of this roundtable as well.

During Brad Stevens' preseason lineup experimentation, we've seen these starting lineups:
Vs. Raptors: Bradley-Lee-Green-Bass-Humphries
Vs. Knicks: Bradley-Lee-Wallace-Bass-Sullinger
In both games it seemed like the bench outplayed the starters, and of course in both games the Celtics lost, but I just want to analyze the starters the best I could, and make predictions for...
Rudy Gay and Tyler Hansbrough both scored 17 points to lead the Toronto Raptors to a 97-89 preseason victory over Boston on Monday night in Celtics' coach Brad Stevens' NBA debut.
DeMar DeRozan had 13 points, and Terrence Ross added 12 for the Raptors.
Gerald Wallace led the Celtics with 16 points, and Jared Sullinger had 14 with six rebounds.

Can Brad Stevens develop the Boston Celtics into a title contender again?
There were thirteen coaching changes in the NBA this off-season and the biggest surprise was when the Boston Celtics hired Brad Stevens.
After Doc Rivers was sent to the Los Angeles Clippers for a 2014 unprotected first-round pick, the speculation increased that the Celtics would bring in a young coach because...
The Boston Celtics dropped their second preseason game Wednesday night against the New York Knicks at the Dunkin Donuts Center in Providence, RI by a score of 103-102. With Brad Stevens making it clear he would be tinkering with lineups, we saw a whole new rotation tonight at The Dunk.

I was only able to catch the last few minutes of the first preseason game against the Raptors, but from what I did see, the Celtics have a great deal of work ahead of them. Just plain weird is all I could come up with to describe the New Look Celtics so far.

Last night's 103-102 loss to the New York Knicks was full of positives. Well- the end of the game was. The end of the game saw the Celtics cut a 23 point lead down to 1 in the midst of a 20-4 run to close the four quarter. Many of those sparks came from Celtics new big, Vitor Faverani.
Faverani has 9 points, 3 standing ovations from the Celtics bench, 2 slam dunks and 1 step...
First of all, I had to wrestle with popups and installing all kinds of things to try to get a stream last night. I finally did find one where the game was archived and was able to watch the whole thing. In spite of the loss, I saw some good things and very much enjoyed watching the game. We have to remember that the Raptors, for the most part, played together last year and they...
