Elton Brand will miss Friday's game against the Allen Iverson Pistons in Detroit. The injury, a strained hamstring, apparently happened at some point in last night's loss against the Lakers, as Brand left halfway through the third quarter and was not on the bench with his team for most of the finish. There is no reason to suspect the injury is severe at this point, so
barring any new developments, he could possibly return by Wednesday's
match against Lebron and the 15-3 Cavs.
