Brian Shaw was none too pleased after his Nuggets got whipped, 117-89, by the Bulls Friday night. And he made sure the whole world heard about it.Apparently, Shaw's frustrations with player effort and losing bubbled over after the game, leading to an epic rant and the following series of tweets published on Denver's official Twitter account.Check them out below:#Nuggets coach Brian Shaw was disappointed in the effort from some of his players tonight in Chicago. Quote string upcoming.— Denver Nuggets (@denvernuggets) February 22, 2014#Nuggets coach Brian Shaw: "I felt like we had some guys that just decided they weren’t going to play tonight."— Denver Nuggets (@denvernuggets) February 22, 2014Shaw cont'd: "It’s unfortunate. We’re professionals, and as a staff we have to beg guys to give effort when they play." #Nuggets— Denver Nuggets (@denvernuggets) February 22, 2014Shaw cont'd: "I told our team, I wish paychecks were predicated on night to night performance." #Nuggets— Denver Nuggets (@denvernuggets) February 22, 2014Shaw cont'd: "If you play like an uninspired player, then either you don’t get paid, or you get paid like an uninspired player."— Denver Nuggets (@denvernuggets) February 22, 2014More Shaw: "We act like the big bad wolf against Milwaukee. Then we come in against the Bulls and we tuck our tails, and we hide."— Denver Nuggets (@denvernuggets) February 22, 2014More Shaw: "We don’t defend at all from the onset of the game until the end. And thus another 30 point loss for us on the road."— Denver Nuggets (@denvernuggets) February 22, 2014Final Shaw: "I’m going to play the guys who want to put forth the effort & act like professionals & go out and earn their paychecks."— Denver Nuggets (@denvernuggets) February 22, 2014Game. Set. Match.I think Shaw has spoken his peace on this topic for now.Via Bleacher Report (Photo: AP)

PLAYERS: Brian Shaw
TEAMS: Denver Nuggets
1 Comment:
  • If shaw ripping the players that is ok but he needs to look at himself because he came in like macdaniels did with the broncs and got rid of good players and also has an attitude when a player questions him. He needs to leave now and get a coach who is going to respect the players not put them down
