Brandon Jennings scored 25 points, Monta Ellis added 20 points and a season-high six steals, and the Milwaukee Bucks beat the short-handed Brooklyn Nets for the 13th straight time, 108-93 on Wednesday night.
Brook Lopez had 21 points and 10 rebounds as the Nets missed a chance to get back to .500 on the road (6-7) and lost their third straight.
The Nets were without starting guard Deron Williams. He used his wrist to brace himself as he fell to the court in Tuesday's 93-76 loss to the Boston Celtics. C.J. Watson made his first start of the season and 60th of his career.
Trailing 78-67 after three, the Nets made it a close game in the fourth quarter, getting to 84-80, but Milwaukee answered with 3-pointers from Ersan Ilyasova, Ellis and Mike Dunleavy to push the lead to 11. Brooklyn could get no closer.
The Nets fell to 3-10 in December.
Ellis and Jennings outscored Joe Johnson and Watson 45-21. When the teams played on Dec. 9 in Brooklyn, Jennings and Ellis outscored Willia...

Milwaukee Bucks guard Beno Udrih will make his return to the floor Wednesday night against Brooklyn after missing 12 games with a sprained right ankle.
Injured Nov. 30 in Minnesota, Udrih has been badly missed by a Bucks team that lacks depth behind starting guards Brandon Jennings and Monta Ellis.
Udrih, 30, is averaging 8.3 points and 3.3 assists in 18 minutes off the bench....
ALL HE CAN STANDS
With the Brooklyn Nets struggling as of late, Gerald Wallace has taken issue with how his teammates are responding to the slide and made his feelings known.
It was all good just a month ago. The Brooklyn Nets who came into this season with high hopes and something of a nice start have fired Avery Johnson.
The foundation of the team has publicly started to crack over the past two weeks as All-Star Deron Williams expressed doubts about Johnson’s system.
Once that happened the Nets went from being a hot team on a cold streak to being...
MILWAUKEE -- Avery Johnson was the Eastern Conference's Coach of the Month for October and November. Now he's fired in December.
As it turns out, Wednesday's 108-93 loss to the Bucks at the BMO Harris Bradley Center was the final straw for Brooklyn's front office as the team fired Johnson on Thursday. Full of hype and expectations in a new city with a new arena and...
MILWAUKEE -- To sum up Wednesday's win over Brooklyn, Bucks coach Scott Skiles stole an oft-used line from NBA analyst and former coach Jeff Van Gundy. "It's a make or miss league."
The one-liner is tossed around the NBA quite a bit, but it was probably the best summation of Milwaukee's 108-93 win, its 13th straight victory over the Nets. The Bucks shot 47...
NBA columnist for Yahoo sports Adrian Wojnarowski reported via twitter earlier today that the Brooklyn Nets have fired coach Avery Johnson. The Nets will make P.J. Carlesimo the interim head coach. Johnson, who was in the final year of his contract, was named Eastern
Conference Coach of the Month for October and Novemberafter an 11-4
start. December wasn't such a good...
The Nets had much higher hopes for their inaugural season in Brooklyn. With a current record of 14-14 and locker room mumblings from Deron Williams saying that he was used to being coached a different way. Plus Gerald Wallace calling his teammates out about their attitude during the losing streak. The Nets have announced the [...]
When the Nets dramatically overhauled their roster this summer, the plan wasn’t to put together a .500 team. But that’s exactly what they are after last night’s 108-93 loss to the Bucks dropped them to 14-14 this season.
“We’re a way better team than what our record is,” Gerald Wallace said. “I’m [bleeping ticked] off about us losing, and especially the way we’re...
When news broke of the Brooklyn Nets firing Avery Johnson, I immediately knew that Phil Jackson’s name would come up in the discussion. Phil has the bug to coach again – and stick it to Jim Buss, – the Nets have a talented team and an owner with deep pockets. Not Jay Z silly, the [...]
The Brooklyn Nets have fired head coach Avery Johnson after a 14-14 start, general manager Billy King announced Thursday. The Nets sit 6 1/2 games behind the first-place Miami Heat in eighth place in the Eastern Conference. They've lost their previous two games and have gone 3-10 in December. Johnson was in the final year of his contract. He was named Eastern Conference Coach...
Kevin Garnett and Gerald Wallace both received a technical in the fourth quarter of Tuesday’s Christmas Day game after a minor scuffle. Wallace grabbed onto Garnett’s shorts following a shot attempt, something Garnett didn’t respond well to:
