Pro Sports Daily:
BOSTON -- Somehow, the Bucks escaped with a win over the Celtics Friday night. They were playing with a pair of banged-up guards. They turned the ball over 23 times. They missed 14 free throws. After trailing by 10 in the first half, they failed to hold a seven-point lead in the final 40 seconds. And they even blew a four-point lead with 1:10 left in overtime. But they won 99-94 ending the Celtics' five-game home winning streak and sending Boston to its fourth loss in the last five games. "We dodged a bullet," guard Brandon Jennings said in the relieved locker room after the game. "Just for myself ... I was so upset ... Just the fact that I didn't take care of the ball toward the end of the stretch. Usually I'm really good with the ball down the stretch. I had some costly turnovers. It kind of bothered me a little bit, but I had a short memory and I knew I had to make those two free throws for us to get out with the win." He did make two free ...

Paul Pierce and the Boston Celtics aren’t very good right now
Celtics fans everywhere keep waiting for the Boston Celtics run, the run that will take them back to the top of the Atlantic Division and into the higher seeds in the Eastern Conference. They did it last year just after the all-star break. It seems as if they should be able to do it this year.
These Boston Celtics, however...
Rajon Rondo, Avery Bradley, Kris Joseph and Courtney Lee play a game of 2-on-2 before Friday's game between the Boston Celtics and Milwaukee Bucks at TD Garden. Rondo and Bradley took turns guarding one another. This is a great sight. Bradley is looking good. I wouldn't be surprised to see him return on Christmas day, personally. Thanks to Mike Petraglia for the video...
The Boston Celtics announced today that they have recalled F Kris Joseph from their NBA Development League affiliate, the Maine Red Claws.

The Celtics have once again recalled Kris Joseph from their D-League affiliate Red Claws. They certainly are using the new unlimited recall rules this year to their advantage. Since I haven'...
I'm back! After being gone for the past few weeks, I am returning to Celtics Green for what I hope will be a good run. I missed being here and am thrilled to return. But, we need to focus on basketball today. Even if this is our last day on Earth, the Celtics are still important.
Tonight, the Celtics will be hosting a team they often struggle against, the Milwaukee Bucks. The...
Note: This post is written by someone who would totally be OK with the Perk trade if Shaq wasn't injured.
* * *It is definitely no news at this point that Celtics need a Center. That our off-season move in Darko has left due to family reasons would be enough to suggest that, but there is more to it. Our rebounding has been worse that last year for certain stretches, and our...
Monta Ellis scored five of his 27 points in overtime and the Milwaukee Bucks beat the Boston Celtics 99-94 Friday night in the teams' final meeting this season.
Milwaukee prevailed despite blowing a seven-point lead late in regulation.
The Bucks won for the sixth time in eight games, taking three of four against the Celtics, who had a five-game home winning streak snapped despite...
Every morning, we compile the links of the day and dump them here… highlighting the big storyline. Because there’s nothing quite as satisfying as a good morning dump.
Celtics forward Jeff Green sustained a bruised left cheek and chipped multiple teeth after absorbing a stray elbow from Milwaukee’s Ersan Ilyasova in the final moments of overtime in the Bucks’ 99-94 triumph...
Jason Terry has been trying to become one of the vocal leaders of the Boston Celtics since coming to the team this past offseason, but by the numbers it doesn’t appear he has been all that effective. The Celtics are 13-12 and have been incredibly inconsistent, both offensively and defensively. Terry’s play has been the same.
Paul Pierce scored a season-high 40 points on Wednesday...
Larry Sanders sat on the bench during a late timeout, his mouth gushing blood.
The cut came from one of the multiple times the Bucks forward was hit in the face during Friday's contest. Instead of losing his cool, Sanders hit them back, but not literally. He let his play do the talking.
With the Bucks up three with 18 seconds left in overtime, Sanders blocked Paul Pierce'...
Jason Collins earned praise from Doc Rivers and Kevin Garnett after his first start.
BOSTON – Twenty-six games into the 2012-2013 NBA season, the Boston Celtics will square up against the Milwaukee Bucks for the last time. With Milwaukee holding a 2-1 series advantage thus far, the Celtics will look to even up the season series tonight. With it being early in the season and with both teams experimenting [...]
I don’t know where to start, so I’m just going to get to the point: other than Paul Pierce, the C’s basically could not hit a shot to save their lives for most of the 2nd half and OT. Monta Ellis and the Bucks hung-around all evening and finish the C’s off 99-94 in OT. The Bucks even tried to give the game back to Boston by blowing a 7 point lead with under a minute left...

8 a.m. ET: The Celtics have just about had enough of the Milwaukee Bucks.
The pesky Bucks and their lightning-fast backcourt of Brandon Jennings and Monta Ellis have caused all sorts of problems for the Celtics this season. The Bucks (13-11) have won two of three meetings already against the C’s (13-12), and they had a run of five wins in six games before they fell to the Grizzlies...
MEMPHIS -- The Memphis Grizzlies haven't exactly been scintillating on offense lately. But they sure know how to play defense. The Grizzlies have held their past two opponents to fewer than 20 points in five of eight quarters, and they did enough Wednesday night to beat the Milwaukee Bucks 90-80 at FedExForum. Despite Memphis shooting just 40.9 percent from the field, including...
