MILWAUKEE The Bucks recalled rookie guard Darrington Hobson from the NBA Developmental League's Fort Wayne Mad Ants Wednesday. In three games with the Mad Ants, Hobson averaged 11.7 points, 2.7 rebounds and 2.3 assists in 27 minutes of work. He had 22 points in Fort Wayne's 104-103 victory over Canton on New Year's Day, including the go-ahead basket with 21.5 seconds to play.Hobson was the Bucks' second-round pick in the 2010 NBA draft (37th overall). The 6-foot-7 guard has yet to appear in an NBA game, though. A hip injury kept Hobson out of the Bucks' summer league action and he underwent season-ending surgery on Oct. 12, 2010.The Bucks released Hobson on Dec. 2 of that year. He was re-signed, to a two-year deal, in Dec. 2011 after rehabbing through a pair of major hip surgeries.Hobson will join the team tonight in Sacramento and be available for the Bucks' game Thursday against the Kings. He'll provide some much needed depth for head coach Scott Skiles, who anticipates being without Mike Dunleavy, Jr., suffering from a groin injury, or Andrew Bogut, who has yet to rejoin the team after it was announced he was dealing with personal issues.Luc Richard Mbah a Moute could be held out of the game, too, after suffering knee pain in the Bucks' 85-73 loss at Utah Tuesday.
