Bucks 2nd year forward John Henson took a jab at the NCAA not paying collegiate athletes when he posted a photo of himself wearing this “Scam” t-shirt with the caption “Pretty much.” The former Tarheel is presumed to be wearing the shirt referencing current UNC players P.J. Hairston, Leslie McDonald who are currently suspended while the NCAA investigates whether they received improper benefits. He’s also apparently harboring some feelings about his college days. Henson played three years at North Carolina and was twice named the ACC Defensive Player of the Year. As an NCAA athlete, of course, his performances...

Bucks' Larry Drew: 'We can't expect to win on lucky shots'

MILWAUKEE -- Mike Dunleavy's 3-pointer to beat his former team in his first trip back to Milwaukee will lead the highlights and many of the stories written about Friday night's game, but the Bucks felt a last-second shot shouldn't have decided things. To the Bucks, they lost because of a failure to execute in the final minutes. A costly foul, a bad shot and a key turnover...

Bucks OJ Mayo’s new $1.8 million-9000 sq. ft Milwaukee home

Bucks OJ Mayo just signed with the team as a free agent last summer. You know what that means, a new home purchase. Mayo reportedly copped this $1.8 million 9,000 sq. foot home in the River Hills suburb of Milwaukee. The five bedroom-five bathroom home also boasts two fireplaces, a first floor kitchen that includes a breakfast room “that flows into an outdoor living room” and...

Larry Drew disappointed with Bucks' effort in loss to Spurs

MILWAUKEE -- The machine that is the San Antonio Spurs rolled on Wednesday night, quickly and efficiently taking care of the Milwaukee Bucks at the BMO Harris Bradley Center. Setting the tone from the opening tip, the Spurs simply were too good for the shorthanded and struggling Milwaukee Bucks. San Antonio led the entire way and by as many as 38 in a 109-77 victory, handing Milwaukee...

John Henson leads Bucks past Bulls in battle of the injured

A seriously depleted Chicago Bulls lineup faced a short-handed Milwaukee Bucks team Tuesday night at the United Center. So a predictably close game came down to one very unpredictable shot. Bucks center John Henson, with nowhere to go and the shot clock running down, tossed up a 22-footer with his team clinging to a one-point lead late in the final quarter. And Henson's shot...

Gary Neal Grateful For Opportunity From Spurs, Understood Their Business Decision

Gary Neal decided not to sign the $1.116 million qualifying offer from the San Antonio Spurs this offseason and accepted a two-year, $7.5 million contract from the Milwaukee Bucks. “I figured after three years, the Spurs benefitted me and I benefitted the Spurs,” Neal said. “But it’s a business. I kind of knew after Game 7 in the Finals, unless I signed a qualifying offer...

John Henson: A Night Of Rainbows

In what was some brutally bad basketball last night, John Henson led the woeful Milwaukee Bucks into Chicago against a Bulls team more battered up than a candy bar at a state fair… and the Bucks actually won!  It’s horrifying to think in today’s NBA that a guy like Henson might have been the most polished offensive player on the court for EITHER TEAM.  It was brutal.  This...

Dunleavy, Bulls pull off crazy last-second victory over Bucks

You don’t have to believe him if you don’t want to. He claims he meant to do it, no matter how unlikely that seems. But intentional or not, Mike Dunleavy’s banked-in 3-pointer with 5.8 seconds remaining beat the Bucks on Friday night, and the way things have been going for the Bulls, they’ll take a victory any way they can get it. “When it left my hand, I thought it had...

Spurs demolish Bucks, 109-77

The Spurs were merciless against the injury-riddled Bucks and got their second win in as many nights against the Eastern bottom-dwellers. In hindsight, this one was over before it even started. The Bucks are surprisingly the worst team in the terrible East after being ravaged by injuries. The Spurs were on SEGABABA but rested after routing the Raptors. It was as predictably lopsided...
