The Chicago Bulls and knee injuries are almost synonymous.  Of course, there's Derrick Rose's no infamous knee injury, but there has also been Taj Gibson's sprained knee.  He re-aggravated the injury last night and will go for an MRI to confirm the extent of the injury.Nick Freidell of ESPN Chicago says that the Bulls and Gibson are hoping there is no significant damage to the knee, but Gibson confirmed it is the same knee he sprained back in February.  If there is a tear to the MCL, it would end Gibson's season.  A sprain would likely still sideline him until the playoffs."I've still got an MRI [Wednesday] but hopefully it's not as worse as before. But it was real painful ... it's similar. But it's all about how it's going to feel [Wednesday]. I hope there's no swelling. But that's what they said, the same injury, the same MCL sprain, but we don't know the [degree] just yet."Gibson has been a solid option off the bench for the Bulls.  He has just six starts this season, but he is still averaging 22.5 minutes per game.  That's enough time for him to score 7.9 points and pull down 5.4 rebounds per game.Gibson is a four-year veteran of the NBA.  In his career, Gibson has averaged 7.9 points and 6.0 rebounds per game.  The 27-year old power forward was drafted out of USC back in 2009.
