Having spent seven out of 11 of his pro career playing in Charlotte, one would assume Gerald Wallace would’ve splurged and bought himself an insane house. The guy has amassed nearly $63,000,000 in career earnings and is slated to make another $40,000,000 over the next four years in Brooklyn. That’s some serious cash to only be living in a $1.6 million house. Looks like Wallace is unloading this dump for some nicer digs up in New York.

Wallace had your standard rich athlete home. Basketball court, custom shoe closet, imported cabinets from Africa…yawn. Way to live it up, Gerald. At least New York will give you a welcome respite from the drag that is living in North Carolina.

Realtor.com said this:

Located 25 miles south of Time Warner Cable Arena, the home of Michael Jordan’s Bobcats, Wallace’s pad is described as a two-style European transitional. It offers a total of six bedrooms and nine bathrooms, along with as many as 12 flat screen televisions, five of which can be found in the master suite.

Does anyone else find it odd that he left the TVs behind? Anyways…

HIGHLIGHTS OF GERALD WALLACE’S CHARLOTTE CRIB:

• 6 bed, 9 bath

• Located on 16 spacious acres

6.8 miles to Whole Foods

8.3 miles to Crazy Horse Showclub

• Heated pool with cabana

• Bought the house from Dell Curry in 2005

Asking $1.6 Million

Mortgage: Just under $6,000+ a month…plus it comes with 12 TVs!
