Brandon SmithIt wasn’t Madison Square Garden during the Big East Tournament against Pittsburgh, but anyone who has followed Kemba Walker’s rise to stardom experienced some serious deja vu tonight in the final seconds of the Bobcat’s 89-87 win over Minnesota. Walker, guarded by Wanamaker Alexey Schved, performed his trademark crossover, step-back jumper to perfection with 0.9 seconds left in the fourth quarter to give the Bobcats the win. Walker tallied 22 points, four rebounds, five assists, and four steals in 45 minutes of action. The Bobcats are now a surprising 4-3 on the season, thanks in part to Walker’s excellent play so far this year. You can almost hear Gary McGhee’s ankles breaking in the background.
