New York Sports-Kings:
Carmelo Anthony ultimately got the last laugh in Minnesota last night as he tore up the Minnesota Timberwolves down the stretch pouring in 36 points and grabbing 9 boards. The Knicks would go on to win the game 100-94. However, that would hardly tell the story as Melo was harassed before the game by a man who apparently got past arena security, while yelling “KG” at Carmelo several times. Carmelo Anthony was harassed by a Wolves fan before the game at Target Center: newsday.com/sports/basketb… — Al Iannazzone (@Al_Iannazzone) February 9, 2013 Via Al Iannazzone: Carmelo Anthony was harassed by a man as the Knicks’ All-Star forward got off the team bus Friday and walked toward the Target City locker room before the game. The incident was witnessed by reporters. The man, who was already in the building and apparently got past arena security, uttered obscenities and said, “KG” several times to Anthony. KG is former T-Wolves star Kevin Garnett, who Anthony had a run in with last month at the Garden. Anthony turned back and asked the man, “Why are you following me?” before he entered the locker room. Knicks security stepped in quickly and helped usher the man away. The post Carmelo Anthony followed and harrassed by Timberwolves fan appeared first on New York Sports Kings.

The Knicks did just enough to win tonight as a game Timberwolves squad gave them everything they could handle in a 100-94 victory.
