Carmelo has some words for fans and media, who are trying to see THE RETURN of Derrick Rose sooner or later. “I wish y’all would stop rushing Derrick back,”  ”Please. He shouldn’t come back until he’s about 110 percent ready. If he can’t compete at a high level, then what’s a couple more months going to do? What’s two more months going to do? I don’t think he should come back, and that’s just my opinion. “And nobody really knows on the outside what he’s really going through, what his body is going through. So until he’s 100 percent right, I would hope he would sit out.” It is probably to Carmelo’s benefit, that a 90% Rose isn’t on the court, because that increases the chances of the Knicks, if they were to run into the Bulls in the playoffs. I don’t think anyone is rushing Rose back, I think part of the problem, is the way Derrick Rose answers the questions about his return.  It is like trying to figure out a jigsaw puzzle.  He never gives a direct answer and a lot of times, he contradicts himself.  If he would just make a decision one way or another, I think people would move on. Melo should just focus on the Knicks getting out of the 1st round of the playoffs and let Derrick Rose worry when God says it is ok for him to return.

  • The Bulls are not going to win it all this season whether Derrick Rose comes back or not. He was cleared by a doctor to come back about 2 months ago. That's about 9 months after his ACL surgery. Meaning it hasn't been a full year. I question the doctors motives as well as the Bulls organization who I'm am sure the doctor was recommended by. We've seen countless examples of athletes coming back too soon. I would have to guess a doctor cleared them as well. Let him come back when he's ready. The worst that could happen is we don't get Derrick Rose for this season which could be a blessing in disguise 'cause we'd end up with a 110% healthy beast for next season. I'd rather have that instead of an 'I told you so' if he were to re-injure himself.

Knicks Resume Winning Ways As They Begin Resting For Playoffs

Carmelo Anthony Doesn’t Think Carlos Boozer Knows What He’s Doing On The Court

The Bulls and Knicks were forced to play small ball on Thursday night thanks to a wrath of injuries to both teams.  The Bulls did have Carlos Boozer to battle the boards where he matched up under the rim plenty of times with Carmelo Anthony who had a season-high 19 rebounds.  Boozer countered with 15 of his own, but Melo doesn’t think the Bulls forward knows what he’s doing...

Derrick Rose can still return, even in playoffs

CC video of the day: Knicks clinch Atlantic Division 'Phantom Style'

This season, the Knicks have eclipsed 50-wins, and won their first division (Atlantic...

Last night, the Cavaliers fell to the New York Knicks 101-91, largely due to the stellar performances of New York’s 1-2 punch of Carmelo Anthony and J.R. Smith (31 points each). Knicks Clinch Division with 120-99 Victory
