Carmelo has some words for fans and media, who are trying to see THE RETURN of Derrick Rose sooner or later.
“I wish y’all would stop rushing Derrick back,” ”Please. He shouldn’t come back until he’s about 110 percent ready. If he can’t compete at a high level, then what’s a couple more months going to do? What’s two more months going to do? I don’t think he should come back, and that’s just my opinion.
“And nobody really knows on the outside what he’s really going through, what his body is going through. So until he’s 100 percent right, I would hope he would sit out.”
It is probably to Carmelo’s benefit, that a 90% Rose isn’t on the court, because that increases the chances of the Knicks, if they were to run into the Bulls in the playoffs.
I don’t think anyone is rushing Rose back, I think part of the problem, is the way Derrick Rose answers the questions about his return. It is like trying to figure out a jigsaw puzzle. He never gives a direct answer and a lot of times, he contradicts himself. If he would just make a decision one way or another, I think people would move on.
Melo should just focus on the Knicks getting out of the 1st round of the playoffs and let Derrick Rose worry when God says it is ok for him to return.

In an unsurprising report, K.C. Johnson of The Chicago Tribune says that it’s “all but a certainty” that Chicago Bulls point guard Derrick Rose misses the remainder of the season, adding that fans should expect the All-Star “back for training camp.”Considering it doesn’t appear Rose will be back during the regular season or playoffs this year, Johnson asked coach Tom...
DON'T RUSH THINGS
Knicks star Carmelo Anthony believes Bulls point guard Derrick Rose should only return to the court when he's ready, saying, "I wish y’all would stop rushing Derrick back."
The Chicago Bulls have been holding on for dear life all season with the hope that their best player Derrick Rose, would make his triumphant return from knee surgery and they would go on a spirited playoff run.
Rose is having issues overcoming the mental obstacles that one must face when making his way back from a devastating injury and there has been rumblings of unrest and impatience...
Though the Knicks' thirteen game winning streak was snapped in Chicago, and the team went all out through overtime trying to earn themselves a victory that never came, it's easy to see they are (as short-handed as they may be) transitioning into playoff mode with their eyes on a long-term run.Though he, like many of his teammates, exhausted himself against Chicago a bit,...
The Bulls and Knicks were forced to play small ball on Thursday night thanks to a wrath of injuries to both teams. The Bulls did have Carlos Boozer to battle the boards where he matched up under the rim plenty of times with Carmelo Anthony who had a season-high 19 rebounds. Boozer countered with 15 of his own, but Melo doesn’t think the Bulls forward knows what he’s doing...
Carmelo Anthony scored 31 points with 14 rebounds in just three quarters and the New York Knicks bounced back after having their winning streak stopped at 13 games one night earlier by beating the Cleveland Cavaliers 101-91 on Friday night.
Anthony's streak of scoring at least 35 points ended at six games as New York coach Mike Woodson chose to rest the All-Star forward the...
Chicago Bulls coach Tom Thibodeau says the teams only timeline given regarding Derrick Rose’s return is eight to 12 months, meaning the organization always thought Rose, who had surgery last May to repair a torn ACL in his left knee, could miss the 2012-2013 season.
For quite sometime, the Knicks were the joke of the NBA.
From the disaster that was Isiah Thomas, blowing up the team for Carmelo Anthony to to playoff futility it was only a matter of time before the team can return to prominance -- and their return as a top-team in the NBA has arrived.
This season, the Knicks have eclipsed 50-wins, and won their first division (Atlantic...
Much success has been coming the Knicks way of late. A 50-game winning season since 1994, second seed in the playoffs, a strong squad led by Carmelo Anthony and versus the Bulls last night, some NBA history.
During the first half in last night's game in Chicago, the Knicks connected on seven three-pointers which added to their team total of 844 three-pointers made in a...
Tom Thibodeau says Bulls chairman Jerry Reinsdorf was adamant from the start that Derrick Rose would not rush back.

Post Game Recap
Final Score: Wizards: 99 Knicks: 120
It is a great time to be a Knicks fan, the first time a person could say that in a very long time. With the rolling of the Wizards the Knicks did tonight, they run their win streak to 13 games and also clinched their first Atlantic Division title since the 1993-1994 season. The Knicks did it in convincing...
With the New York Knicks securing the Atlantic Division for the first time since 1994, plenty of speculation has surfaced regarding their capability of winning a NBA Championship. Carmelo Anthony has once again placed himself in the Most Valuable Player discussion in the midst of the Knicks impressive 13-game winning streak. Carmelo actually missed the Knicks first win against the...
Last night, the Cavaliers fell to the New York Knicks 101-91, largely due to the stellar performances of New York’s 1-2 punch of Carmelo Anthony and J.R. Smith (31 points each). Rather than a traditional recap, I thought I’d take a stab at looking at some of the crazy cross-matchups that occurred in this game’s, primarily centered around Anthony playing the power forward position...

Monday marked the day the NBA Hall of Famer voters finally got it right, as New York Knick legend Bernard King was finally voted into The Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame class of 2013.
This has been a long time coming for King, who has long been thought to have been admitted into the Hall of Fame by players, coaches and fans alike. Better late than never...

For the first time in 19 years, the Knicks are Atlantic Division Champions. Since that year, six teams have won the division, including the Miami Heat and the Orlando Magic, who are no longer in the division now. It has been a long journey, especially for the die-hards that stuck with the team since then, but the journey (at least for now) has a sweet ending...
