Carmelo Anthony felt his left shoulder pop out of place when he collided with Avery Bradley during the fourth quarter of the Knicks' Game 6 win over the Boston Celtics. "It was a little sore throughout the whole game," Anthony said. "Then when Bradley came and hit my shoulder from behind, it really just kind of popped in and out a little bit. But I'm fine." Anthony expects to be healthy enough to take the floor in Game 1 of the Knicks-Pacers series on Sunday afternoon. "It's not something I come into the game thinking about," Anthony said. "Certain things I do out there on the court, I can feel it."

C's fans chant 'Honey Nut Cheerios' at Carmelo

During Game Six of the 2013 Eastern Conference NBA playoff game between the Celtics and Knicks, the fans at Boston’s TD Garden began taunting Carmelo Anthony with a chant of “Honey Nut Cheerios”. This chant is, of course, in reference to comments Kevin Garnett “allegedly” made about Carmelo’s wife, LaLa Vazquez. Good ol’ Boston, keeping it classy. Article found on...

Oh Boston Celtics fans. In the first quarter of Friday night’s Game 6 match up, the Celtics fans started a chant trying to get into the head of Knicks star Carmelo Anthony. Yes, those were “Honey Nut Cheerios” chants you heard. Celtics fans chant “Honey Nut Cheerios” at Carmelo Anthony

Back in January, Boston Celtics forward Kevin Garnett made the term “Honey Nut Cheerios” into a whole new thing after he spent some time trash-talking Carmelo Anthony about his wife, La La Vazquez. Flash-forward to today, Celtics fans decided to serenade Carmelo with those exact words as he made his way to the Knicks bench area during game six of their first-round playoff series...

Knicks, Pacers struggling with isolation

Carmelo Anthony did not have a "hot spot" on the floor against the Celtics. The New York Knicks and Indiana Pacers will renew their postseason rivalry beginning with Game 1 on Sunday at 3:30 ET on ABC. This marks the seventh postseason meeting all-time between the Pacers and Knicks. The teams split the previous six meetings, 3-3. The interesting thing about this matchup...

Should Chris Paul Be Considered The “Carmelo Anthony Of The West”?

Chris Paul is 13-15 in the first round (through 5/1/13) and 16-23 overall in his four playoff appearances during his eight-season career. He’s only made it out of the first round TWICE  and has never made a conference final. Boston Celtics rally but come up short, fall to New York Knicks 88-80

I had a recap written, a morose send off to a lost season, but like so many times before the Celtics made me tear the whole thing up. When Avery Bradley stole the ball and cut the lead to four I believed, in that moment I doubted the obituary I had resigned myself to writing and though the C’s came up short I wonder what comes next. When the Knicks’ lead ballooned to twenty I...

Jordan Crawford continues taunting Carmelo Anthony, clearly not a representation of the Boston Celtics!

I've found myself questioning why Danny Ainge would bring Jordan Crawford to Boston. The Boston Celtics are a franchise that prides themselves on great players who take responsibility for their actions both on, and off the court. As the Celtics made a decision to stay away from the pompous taunting tirades of their immature opponents, the seldom used Jordan Crawford shows his...

MIAMI (AP) -- The writer who did not choose LeBron James of the Miami Heat as the NBA's Most Valuable Player believes Carmelo Anthony "meant more to his team" this season. Gary Washburn of The Boston Globe says Anthony made the New York Knicks relevant again by leading them to their first division title in nearly two decades. Washburn's explanation was published...

Knicks survive Celtics, win series

Carmelo Anthony scored 21 points and the New York Knicks held on after blowing most of a 26-point lead to beat the Boston Celtics 88-80 in Game 6 on Friday night and advance in the postseason for the first time since 2000. Iman Shumpert scored 15 of his 17 points in the second half, when the Celtics cut a 75-49 deficit to four points. But Anthony made a jumper to give New York an...
