If there was any way to make a dive for the ball out of bounds in any more of a dramatic way, Carmelo Anthony sure did it. Early in the game versus the Philadelphia 76ers, Nick Young looked like he got an easy layup in front of him until Anthony was able to block him. However, the ball looked like it was heading out of bounds, giving the Sixers another chance to score then. For Anthony, he decided to give it all he’s got, diving for the ball and saving it to keep it inbounds. Adding to it, Anthony joined a huge crowd of fans by jumping into them…literally. The 28-year-old finished the game with 27 points, giving the New York Knicks a 100-84 victory in Sunday’s outing. The post Carmelo Takes Huge Dive Into the Crowd (Video) appeared first on FootBasket.

NEW YORK -- For all their questions about age and possible distractions in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy, Carmelo Anthony and the New York Knicks could not have had a better season opener. Knicks roll past Heat 104-84 in New York opener

Carmelo Anthony heard the news about the New York City Marathon being canceled, then came out to warm up and saw plenty of empty seats at Madison Square Garden. At that moment, it would've been easy to agree with Dwyane Wade and others, that this wasn't the time to be playing games. By tip-off, Anthony and the Knicks knew otherwise. Fans had filled the place, when even...

Knicks continue their winning ways in record fashion

This game was a lot of fun, unless you are a Sixers fan of course. It had a little bit of everything. You got some Sheed, some good JR and some hilarious Nick Young being an idiot. Overall it was another blowout win for the Knickerbockers, their third in as many games this season. Melo Tony led the team in scoring with an efficient 21 points on 7/16 shooting. Earl Smith had another...

Just one night after defeatd by the New York Knicks and the three ball, the Sixers recorded their second loss of the season.  The Sixers lost Monday's game at the Wells Fargo Center to the New York Knicks, 110-88.  Yet again, the main problem was the three ball. Nick Young provides a strong contender for 'Worst Shot of the Year'

The Philadelphia 76ers' Nick Young has always been a very talented player, but he can also be a bit of a headache at times. His shot selection for example has always been an issue, and as I write this, he's 4 of 15 from the field in tonight's game against the Knicks. And one of those missed shots was particularly awful: Thigh Five: theScore Buzz ...

Sixers Shot Down on the Road

The New York Knicks hit 11-of-27 threes en route to a 100-84 win over the Philadelphia 76ers at the Garden earlier today. Carmelo Anthony made only one of those deadly threes, but scored 27 points and shot 56 percent from the field. The Sixers hung tough for the first 12 minutes of the game, but…

Nick Young’s Horrible Shot vs. New York Knicks (Video)

The first quarter was winding down in Monday’s game between New York Knicks and Philadelphia 76ers, when Nick Young made a fantastic save, but then attempt a not-so-fantastic shot. Notice there was still 7.0+ seconds left when he initially got the shot off, Young looked as though he was having a seizure when he shot [...]The post Nick Young’s Horrible Shot vs. New York Knicks...

Jason Richardson wants cameramen removed from baseline after spraining his ankle

You see it at least once a game. A player chasing a loose ball goes crashing into the group of photographers and cameramen assembled on the baseline under the basket. Usually, the player gets up, checks that the photographer is okay, and then rejoins the game. But that wasn’t the case for Sixers guard Jason Richardson during Sunday’s Sixers-Knicks game. Richardson drove to the...

How Good Can the Clippers Really Be?

Last year we saw this young Clippers bunch thrive with Chris Paul under the helm as they made the playoffs and matched up with a lethal Grizzlies team. Many picked the experienced Grizzlies to move on against LA, but instead the Clippers took the series to seven games and went into Memphis and basically man-handled them. Banged up from the series before Los Angeles had virtually...
