Caron Butler pulled the ultimate troll move Friday against the Toronto Raptors.
With 15-seconds left in the game and the Clippers down 98-71, Butler went over to Jonas Valanciunas to give him a fake high-five at mid-court. Instead of letting the clock run out and share a brief chat with the rookie, Butler stole the ball from Valanciunas.
Valanciunas was called for a clear path foul and Butler was rewarded with two free throws. Even if it was a somewhat poor sportsmanship play this was a hilarious move by Butler. He finished with 12 points on the night instead of 10.

So the Raptors are up by 27 on the Los Angeles Clippers with 17 seconds to play and the Raps plan to run out the clock on their last possession to close out the win. Yep, time for Jonas to hold onto the ball, slap a few high fives until...Caron Butler does the unthinkable to the Raptors rook. You can't trust anyone, Jonas, you...
With the Toronto Raptors firmly ahead of the Los Angeles Clippers by a score of 98-71, Jonas Valanciunas of the Raptors fell into a trap of being too trusting of Caron Butler. Once the Raptors got the ball past half court they (like everyone else watching the game) thought that the time would run out and both teams would head to the locker room. Instead, Caron Butler came up to...

Caron Butler plays to the whistle. Someone should have told Raptors rookie Jonas Valanciunas, who got totally punked by the dirtiest player in the game. Wooo!
Butler shook hands with Valanciunas, who was holding the ball, trying to run the clock in Friday's blowout win over the Clippers. As they chatted, Butler stole the ball and bolted for the basket and tried to score...
Caron Butler taught Jonas Valanciunas an important lesson on Friday night — never trust a crafty veteran.
With Butler’s Clippers down 98-71 with 17 seconds remaining, Valanciunas dribbled the ball to half court to run out the clock. Butler went to high five the Raptors center, and pried the ball out of his hands.
Valanciunas fouled Butler before he could get to the hoop for a...
Down 98-71 with 12 seconds to go, LA Clipper Jonas Valanciunas figured it was time to say good-bye to Toronto's Caron Butler and go home. High five. And then the Raptor robbed Jonas of his...

With the Clippers down 98-71 and about 15 seconds left in the game, pretty much everybody watching assumed the game was over. So did almost all the players in the game. The key word there being almost.
With just a few seconds left, Clippers forward Caron Butler casually approached Jonas Valanciunas to give him a high-five for a good game. However, Butler had another idea in my...
At the end of a lopsided Toronto Raptors victory, L.A. Clippers forward Caron Butler walks up to Raptors center Jonas Valanciunas as time is expiring, fakes a high five, steals the ball, and heads to the basket, drawing a foul and putting him on the line. Quite an amusing play as the Raptors destroyed the [...]

Caron Butler was clearly frustrated at the end of the Los Angeles Clippers’ 98-73 blowout loss to the Toronto Raptors Friday, so he decided to get in the metaphorical last word.
Butler walked up to Raptors center Jonas Valanciunas who was just going to hold onto the ball until time ran out. Butler pretended to give Valanciunas a high five, but he pried away the ball for a steal...

The Boston Celtics and Los Angeles Clippers are playing Sunday, but the most interesting news (if you can call it that) is off the court. The Sporting News is reporting that the Clippers are offering Eric Bledsoe and Caron Butler in exchange for Kevin Garnett in what would be a blockbuster trade.
I'm not sure I buy this. For one thing, I can't imagine the Clippers trading...
Despite recent struggles, mostly due to injuries, the Clippers are making it clear they’re playing to win this year.
Los Angeles has contacted the Celtics about trading for Kevin Garnett, according to Sean Devaney of the Sporting News. The deal would bring Caron Butler and Eric Bledsoe to the Celtics.
The Clippers already have Blake Griffin at power forward and DeAndre Jordan at...
