I understand that the Cleveland Cavaliers and their fans are mad at LeBron James. LBJ was supposed to be the One; a homegrown talent that was going to take the home team to the top. But than he 'decided' to take his considerable talents to South Beach.
If I was a Cavs fan or owner of the team I'd still be mad even though its been a few years. However, when you let animosity cloud your judgement--like the Cavs did in naming Tyrone Corbin the best No. 23 in team history--it cheapens the value of anything the team does.
This is not meant to be a knock against Corbin., but lets take a look at the man the team is calling a better Cav than LeBron James:
over the course of his 15-year career he averaged 9.2 points and 4.7 rebounds in 26 minutes
played for nine teams
started only four games for the Cavs
played in parts of 86 total games in a Cleveland uniform over two stays with the team
the first time around (32 games) he averaged 4 points and 3 rebounds over 13.7 min...
