Andrew Bynum was introduced by the Cleveland Cavaliers on Friday with a handshake and a smile.
This is the second-consecutive year that Bynum has done this dance.
It is the second time that he has publicly stated that he will be healthy enough to play a full season of basketball.
Last season, the Philadelphia 76ers gave Bynum $16.9 million and he did not give them a second’s worth...

Kyrie Irving is eligible for a contract extension next offseason with the Cleveland Cavaliers, but a rumor from Brandon Tierney of CBS Radio indicates there could be discord.
“I’ve heard from someone in the know… Kyrie Irving not long for Cleveland," said Tierney.
Irving responded to the statement on Twitter.
“I wish I knew ‘someone in the know’ for all my facts...
Anthony Bennett, the Cleveland Cavaliers first-round selection in the recent NBA Draft, continues to recover from surgery to repair a torn labrum. Still, Cavs coach Mike Brown told Bob Finnan of The News-Herald that he expects the rookie to be ready to return by training camp. While Bennett is expected to be healthy, it will be interesting to see how Brown uses the big man and gets...
The Cleveland Cavaliers have waived Kevin Jones and Chris Quinn.
Jones played in 32 games this past season for the Cavs, averaging 3.0 points and 2.4 rebounds in 10.5 minutes per game.
Quinn played in seven games for the Cavs, averaging 1.4 points and 1.3 assists in 11.3 minutes per game.
With the return of head coach Mike Brown to the Cleveland Cavaliers, we can safely assume that he will be preaching defense to many of the team’s young stars.
After yesterday’s Cavaliers Summer League victory over the Spurs, second-year guard Dion Waiters was being interviewed about his performance.
Keep an eye behind him as Mike decides to videobomb him and praise him for his defense:
It feels so much like deja vu I as I sit and watch a city get euphoric over the signing of Andrew Bynum.
A year ago in Philadelphia, the sign and trade acquisition of Andrew Bynum had the city buzzing with thoughts of a dominant center, and a historic playoff run.
Instead, Bynum missed every game of the season, collected over $16 million, and spent an entire year trolling 76ers fans...
If all goes well with Andrew Bynum, the Cleveland Cavaliers wont need to worry about LeBron James.
Not that the Cavs would ignore James should he opt out of his contract and become a free agent next summer. No team would.
Its just that if Bynum can stay healthy, and All-Star point guard Kyrie Irving continues his rise, the Cavs will be desperate for no one.
Bynum met with reporters...
Andrew Bynum is officially a member of the Cleveland

Hopefully everyone got their binge drinking and hot dog
eating out of the way so we can get back to business. The summer has slowed down for the NBA with
players taking time off. A few more
signings are happening, mostly restricted free agents, but all of the big names
have signed already. We will take a look at a few of the stories happening this
past week and some opinions...
Over the last few days, Cleveland Cavaliers fans have seen a more demonstrative head coach Mike Brown out with the team over at the NBA Las Vegas Summer League. Yesterday, Brown shed some light on how he views second-year guard Dion Waiters.
“I’m viewing him strictly as a 2-guard,” Brown said to the Akron Beacon Journal’s Jason Lloyd.
In Lloyd’s article, he shares Brown’s...
The Cleveland Cavaliers are slowly trying to put together the pieces of a lower seeded eastern conference playoff team.
The Cavs have already added Andrew Bynum, Earl Clark and Jarrett Jack, and now Adrian Wojnarowski is reporting that the team is considering making an amnesty waiver claim for the recently waived Miami Heat forward Mike Miller.

The vaunted NBA Summer League schedule has come to an end for the Cleveland Cavaliers. Missing their best players on Saturday — second-year regulars Dion Waiters and Tyler Zeller were given the day off — the hapless Cavs were no match for the similarly anonymous Miami Heat, falling 82-76 in Las Vegas.
Forward Justin Harper (21 points), guard Jermaine Taylor (20 points) and guard...
