Going through training camp, preseason games, road games and the highs and lows of an NBA season can form lasting bonds among teammates. They endure heavy coaching scrutiny, the battles on the court and much more that they transcend teammates and become brothers.
So it is not surprising when news hit Rockets' Jeremy Lin and Chandler Parsons that four of their teammates were traded moments before tipoff of their game against the Thunder, they took it hard.
The Rockets traded Patrick Patterson, Cole Aldrich and Toney Douglas to Sacramento for Thomas Robinson, Francisco Garcia and Tyler Honeycutt. Houston also traded Marcus Morris to Phoenix for a second-round pick.
That's four teammates gone! Four guys Lin and Parsons went to battle with but it is the nature of the NBA -- part basketball, part business.
Check out the reaction from Lin and Parsons as they weigh in on the Houston trades.
