This is the Celtics first and only meeting with the Clippers this season. The Clippers fortunes have definitely changed. With Blake Griffin and Chris Paul, they are no longer the doormat and laughing stock of the league. This won't be an easy game for the Celtics like it might have been in past seasons.
Both teams are playing in back to back games. The Celtics played an early game while the Clippers played later. At least the Celtics didn't have to travel overnight to get to the game. Blake Griffin threw down a beautiful reverse jam off the lob from Mo Williams and directly over Greg Stiemsma of the Boston Celtics. Blake was telegraphing and calling for the dunk from the second Mo got the ball and headed down the court, which is why the dunk is that much more impressive. When you have the jumping ability of the Clippers All-Star Forward, you can pretty do...

Sure, you could begin make a case for guys like Kyle Lowry, John Wall and heck, even young fellas like Kyrie Irving and Ricky Rubio (R.I...
During last night's NBA affair between the Golden State Warriors and the Los Angeles Clippers, Clippers star forward Blake Griffin was not welcomed to a block party thrown by Warriors guard Monta Ellis.
Watch as Monta sends this ball into the front row:
LOS ANGELES Paul Pierce opened the door at the far corner of the visitors' locker room, surveyed the phalanx of reporters camped in front of his locker and receded behind the gray metal door.
It was easy to understand why, after the Celtics handed a 97-94 victory to the Lakers, Pierce wasn't yet in much of a mood to face the uncomfortable questions that follow the decaying...

It was a back and forth game, but in the end the Celtics came out on top after a late run helped them seal the 94-85 victory. It was the Celtics second night of a back to back, and their second straight game in the Staples Center.
Paul Pierce led the Celtics with 25 points, Kevin Garnett added 21 points. Rajon Rondo had a double double with 12 points and 10 assists. Ray Allen was...

8 a.m. ET: The first of two consecutive games in the Staples Center didn't go so well for the Celtics, so they'll take another crack at it Monday night -- late Monday night. The Celtics take on the newly popular Clippers in Los Angeles, hoping to ground Lob City for at least one night. It will be a challenge for the lumbering Celtics to keep high fliers like Blake Griffin...
Struggles on the road are one reason the Boston Celtics aren't in their customary position atop the Atlantic Division.
A visit to the Los Angeles Clippers may have spelled more trouble earlier in the season, but it doesn't look so intimidating right now.
