#CelticsTalk: #Celtics have expressed some interest in #Bucks Carlos Delfino w/Mayo out and Courtney Lee too pricey, source tells #CSNNE.com
— A. Sherrod Blakely (@SherrodbCSN) July 19, 2012
CSNNE's A. Sherrod Blakely is reporting via Twitter that the Celtics are interested in Bucks' free agent, Carlos Delfino.
Delfino, a 6'6" guard/forward, averaged 9.0 points, 3.9 rebounds, 2.3 assists, in 28 minutes per game last season. He shot 40% from the field and 36% from beyond the arc. It would appear that the Celtics are moving on past Courtney Lee. I would hope that Pietrus is also a possibility. He has made no secret of wanting to come back and he's a great locker room guy and was playing very well before his knee started acting up again. I'm sure there will be plenty more "Celtics are Interested in Player X" posts coming up!

If the Celtics can't get Courtney Lee, Delfino would be an excellent fall back option. He can score, shoot the 3, defend, and is pretty tough. He's been a starter the majority of...
Jason Terry officially a Celtic, no sign and trade
Celtics presser
The Boston Celtics announced today that they have signed free agent guard Jason Terry. Per team policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Since everyone already knew that Jason Terry would be a Celtic, this is kind of more bad news in a way than it is good. That is, because the Celtics were trying to get Dallas to agree to a sign and trade so that they could free...
Unconfirmed Twitter rumor: Courtney Lee decides on Celtics
A man on Twitter claiming to be Courtney Lee's cousin started a stir by posting that Lee has signed with the Celtics.
Courtney Lee himself responded by saying "haven't signed." Not sure if Lee's tweet means "I haven't signed with the Celtics yet" or "I haven't signed with anyone, stop these crazy rumors." But then Lee proceeded...

Paul Pierce is Working!
Anyone been wondering about what Paul Pierce has been doing with his summer? He's been very quiet this summer. Kevin Garnett weighed in on Ray Allen and about the new signees but we haven't heard anything from the Captain. Well, good news, Celtics fans. He posted a photo on facebook to show us what he's been doing this summer with the simple title: Work.
It looks...

Ryan Hollins Draws Interest
Celtics Center Ryan Hollins has drawn interest in Free Agency from New Orleans. Likely a minimum salary contract candidate, Hollins joined the Celtics during the season and provided decent defense and above average athleticism in stretches. He is wildly inconsistent and one of the worst rebounding 7-Footers in league history, but he did earn some important playoff minutes for a...

Jermaine O’Neal forgets the internet exists, recycles ridiculous excuses
Jermaine O’Neal is still trying to play basketball. And despite what we saw in Boston over the past couple of years, he swears he can still be productive.
Ok. Fine. I’m not going to get on any player who still wants to play the game for a living. It’s a beautiful game… the locker room is a lot of fun because you get to act like a kid… the relationships you build...
