The scoreboard doesn't reflect it, and you won't see it by looking at the box score, but the Celtics absolutely dominated the Pistons. The Celtics trademark defense disrupted the Pistons all night long, never allowing them to get into any sort of rhythm. KG and Perkins played Rasheed to perfection, holding him to 11 points on 3-12 shooting (with 2 of those field goals coming on easy jump shots while he was being defended by PJ Brown). Billups was useless for 29 of his 31 minutes on the floor, finishing with 9 points, 2 assists and turnovers. His hamstring didn't seem to be bothering him, but Rondo's tight frantic defense sure did. If it wasn't for Antonio McDyess and Tayshaun Prince keeping the Pistons in the contest, the game would have spiraled out of control...
