One down, three more wins to go. The Celtics came out knowing they had the pressure on them to win Game 1, and they did so, taking down the Lakers 98-88. This game wasn't without it's drama, however. With 6:52 remaining in the third quarter, Kendrick Perkins came down awkwardly on Paul Pierce, sending Pierce to the floor. Pierce was down for several moments, clutching at his knee, before having to be carried off by his teammates, and into a wheelchair into the locker room. You could almost hear a pin drop as Pierce was helped off the court, and the once loud and feverish crowd became quite the opposite. It may have not been quite a Willis Reed, or Larry Bird, moment, but Pierce did come back minutes later to a thundering standing ovation. And Pierce didn't wait long to make his presence felt, burying back-to-back three pointers, and finishing with 15 third
