I'm not counting this as a huge loss... but it's a name out of the mix.
HOUSTON - Free agent forward Chuck Hayes has five teams expressing strong interest in him and his agent told FOX 26 Sports Hayes could be ready to make a decision by the weekend. "The teams that are involved with Chuck Hayes are the Portland Trailblazers, the Toronto Raptors, the Houston Rockets, the Sacramento Kings and the Minnesota Timberwolves," Calvin Andrews said.
Like Danny said earlier today, a lot of teams have money and a lot of players are looking for that money. The Celtics do not have money. They do have a shot at title, though, but that's not really enough for Chuck Hayes. He's got to cash in while he can, and worry about the title later.
