However Paul Pierce scored a game high 36 points, Ray Allen had 22 more, and the "Big Baby" Glen Davis made the most of his opportunity as a starter, putting 12 points, and 6 rebounds, as the Celtics defeated the visiting Minnesota Timberwolves 109-101.
