Just a few random thoughts for tonight's post game wrap up.  First, KG's injury is troubling.  He didn't seem to injure the foot in the game but they said he was walking gingerly afterwards.   It is being described as a foot injury rather than an ankle injury. And the fact that they are going to take an MRI makes it even more worrisome.    I remember back in that year before KG arrived, Pierce missed half the season with a foot injury.  Hopefully the MRI comes out negative and KG just gets some more rest.   In that case,  Doc needs to keep him out until he is absolutely 100% and rested.   Give Randolph and White a chance to play.  They've done well when they have gotten the minutes.   That brings me to tonight's game. The Celtics were down 21 when Doc took out the regular rotation guys and turned the game over to his little used reserves for what I'm sure he thought was going to be garbage time.  But a strange thing happened.   Those little used reserves came in and played with heart and energy and they were aggressive and they managed to turn the game around and cut that 21 point lead down to 4.  I know Doc was trying to use offensive and defensive lineups to try to win but I thought he should have left the guys in who got them there.  Williams, Crawford, White, Randolph and Green were the energy guys who brought them back and I thought that they should have been allowed to close it out, win or lose.  I also think those 4 guys deserve more playing time, especially the bigs.  We desperately need rebounding and I think White and Randolph can help us there.  Randolph was very active around the basket and changed several shots along with scoring 2 points to go with 4 rebounds and 1 block in just 8 minutes.  White was 2-2 from the floor for 4 points along with 2 rebounds and 4 blocks.   Williams also made the case for more playing time hitting 4-4 from the field for 9 points to go with 2 rebounds, 2 assists, and 1 steal.  Boston Celtics' Terrence Williams (55) shoots over Memphis Grizzlies' Quincy Pondexter (20) and Darrell Arthur, left, during the first half of an NBA basketball game in Memphis, Tenn., Saturday, March 23, 2013. (AP Photo/Danny Johnston) I've been a bit critical of Crawford getting so many minutes in the 4th quarter in recent games, but tonight he earned them.  He scored 21 points to go with 5 rebounds, 3 assists and he only turned the ball over once.  Most importantly,  these 4 players were aggressive and played with energy and effort.    Paul Pierce had another big night with 26 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists, but he continues to turn the ball over way too much.  He had 5 turnovers tonight and in a game where they scored 21 points off of Celtics turnovers, that's a  very important thing to consider.  The Celtics were once again out-rebounded by their opponents, this time 44-37.   With the Celtics needing help on the boards,  I really would like to see White and Randolph at least get a chance to play.   The Celtics almost pulled out a comeback win but they came up short and their road woes continue with the 110-106 .  The Celtics have just 13 games to figure it all out and right the ship before the playoffs.  Hopefully that starts with Tuesday's game at home vs the Knicks.  It's pretty much a must win at this point.  They have dropped to just 1.5 games ahead of the Bucks for that dreaded 8th spot.  They have also dropped to 1.5 games behind Chicago for 6th.  One more thing I'd like to mention.  I had to laugh when Tony Allen fouled Jason Terry and Scal pronounced it a classic TA moment.   I remember several times when that happened in Boston.  One time especially sticks in my mind.  The Celtics were down 3 and  TA fouled Chauncey Billups shooting a 3.  Chauncey hit the 3 and the free throw to win the game.  As Scal said,  Classic TA.   And finally, this reaction from Doc sums up the performance of the referees tonight.  'Nuff said.
