The Boston Celtics Thursday night shot 55.7% (44-79) from the floor, 53.3% (8-15) from outside the arc, and had 7 players in double figures, as they decimated the Washington Wizards at the Verizon Center by a score of 122-88. It puts the "Green Team" winning streak at 13 straight games, and at 21-2 it is the best start in team history. Boston dominated from the opening minutes, and the Wizards never came close to ever being a threat. The Celtics had such a strong game that the only starter to play any minutes in the fourth quarter was Paul Pierce, and Boston still outscored Washington by 19 points in the period.
